OPINION OF THE COURT UPON FURTHER REVIEW

BURD, Senior Judge:

On 9 March 2000, the appellant was tried by general court-martial composed of a military judge sitting alone at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), Nevada. Consistent with her pleas, she was found guilty of wrongful use of cocaine, in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 912a. The adjudged sentence consisted of a bad-conduct discharge and reduction to E-l. The convening authority approved the adjudged sentence and, pursuant to Article 76a, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 876a, ordered the appellant to take leave pending completion of appellate…
