SOTOMAYOR, Circuit Judge:

This appeal principally concerns whether acting Police Chief Robert Henneman (“Henneman”), as a witness testifying at police disciplinary hearings, is absolutely immune from civil liability for offering allegedly perjurious testimony at those hearings. Plaintiff-appellant Dennis Rolon (“Rolon”), a police officer in the town of Wallkill, New York, also alleges that police officer Ari Moskowitz (“Moskowitz”) falsely accused him of misconduct and caused him to suffer humiliation and economic loss.
