MAIN, Judge.

Shonelle Andre Jackson, appeals the circuit court’s summary dismissal of his Rule 32, Ala.R.Crim.P., petition for postconviction relief, challenging his capital-murder conviction and sentence of death, and his first-degree-theft conviction and sentence of life imprisonment.

On February 27, 1998, Jackson was convicted in the Montgomery Circuit Court of the intentional murder of Lefrick Moore during the course of a robbery, a capital offense, see § 13A-5-40(a)(2), Ala.Code 1975, and of theft in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-8-3, Ala.Code 1975.
