STEPHENS, Judge.
Respondents appeal from the trial court’s order terminating their parental rights to the minor child, Y.Y.E.T.1 For the reasons stated herein, we affirm the order of the trial court.
I. Factual Background and Procedural History
Y.Y.E.T. was born to Respondents on 15 April 2007. Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services (“DSS”) first became involved in this matter on 28 August 2007 after Y.Y.E.T. was admitted to Carolinas Medical Center with a swollen leg on 23 August 2007.
