This appeal reaches us after extensive litigation in both the bankruptcy and district courts. The Wades brought suit against several parties to redress alleged wrongs suffered by them as a result of their corporation’s voluntary bankruptcy petition. The Wades are the principal owners and officers of Wade Trucking, Inc. The defendants include former bankruptcy trustee (Edward Hopper II), attorneys hired by Hopper as bankruptcy trustee (Hopper & Opperman and Hostetler & Kowalik), and Wade Trucking’s primary secured creditor (Merchants Bank and Trust).
