Hunting v. Clark County School District No. 161

Idaho Supreme Court

Decided January 30, 1997No. 22336PublishedCited by 15 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

McDEVITT, Chief Justice.

This case involves an action brought by an annual contract teacher, Julia Hunting (Hunting), who alleges that the Clark County School District (School District) breached Hunting’s agreement with the School District. The district court dismissed Hunting’s complaint based upon the district court’s finding that the School District was entitled to summary judgment. The primary issue raised on appeal is whether the School District is legally bound to the terms of the agreement between Hunting and the School District. We reverse the decision of the district court.
