This is an appeal from a judgment in favor of defendants (cross-complainants) in an action instituted by Bernard Maguire and Phoebe Edna Maguire, against Charles Edward Lees and his daughter, Antoinette Lees Howard, to quiet title to certain mining property in Nevada County. Defendants filed an answer and a cross-complaint bringing in as new parties defendant, Sidney R. Miller, Larry Lawson, and Harrison Cassell.
