MEMORANDUM AND ORDER ON DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO DISMISS

ROBSON, District Judge.

The defendant in this diversity action for an accounting has moved to dismiss on the ground that this court has no jurisdiction. For the reasons set forth below, this court is of the opinion that this motion should be granted.

Service on the defendant in this action was made in Philadelphia pursuant to Rule 4(e), which incorporates the Illinois “long-arm” statute, S.H.A. ch. 110, § 17.1 The defendant contends that it does not fall within the reach of that statute, since it did not “transact any business within”…
