Hot Springs Baptist Church (incorporated), of the city of Hot Springs, Arkansas, decided to build a new church edifice in April, 1908, and through its pastor began negotiations with' appellees, a firm of architects in the city of Dallas, Texas, for the preparations of' plans and specifications. Appellants land certain other members of the church were appointed as a building committee with authority to make contracts, but the authority was limited to that of forming plans and building a church not to cost exceeding the sum of $50,000.
