THOMPSON, District Judge.

This suit is brought to enjoin the defendant from further infringing letters patent No. 511,559 and No. 511,560, relating to the transmission of electricál power, and to recover damages for past infringements. The defendant denies the infringement charged, and claims that the letters patent are void for want of invention, and because they are for the same invention as letters patent No. 416,193, granted to the same inventor.
