The plaintiff, the Amarillo Independent School District, instituted this suit in the district court of Potter county, Tex., against the defendants, the Masonic Temple Association of Amarillo, and the Mercantile Trust Company of St. Louis, Mo., to recover the sum of $1,047.10, delinquent taxes, interest, penalties, costs, etc., for the year 1926, legally levied and assessed by the plaintiff against lot No. 6 and the south 20 feet of lot No. 7, block 4, of the Glidden and Sanborn addition to Amarillo, and the improvements thereon, all of which is situated within the Amarillo Independent School…
