BELCHER, Judge.

Appellant was convicted of driving an automobile while his operator’s license was suspended and his punishment assessed at a fine of $200.

*303After Officer Ussery observed the appellant operating an automobile upon a public highway without a state inspection sticker on the windshield, he stopped him and determined that the appellant had no license authorizing him to drive an automobile on a public highway.

Patrolman Cowles of the Texas Department of Public Safety testified that he had before him the records pertaining to the operator’s license of the appellant and that said record…
