This is an action of contract to recover the amount due upon a bill of exchange drawn by the plaintiff, accepted by the defendant, and payable at the Hub Trust Company in Boston. The instrument in question represented the amount of the consideration paid for certain goods sold and delivered by the plaintiff to the defendant. The defendant’s answer is a general denial.
