The Fidelity & Casualty Company of New York issued to Gilbert W. Morrison, of Chicago, a policy of accident insurance wherein his sister, Emma B. Morrison, was named as beneficiary. So far as material to this case the policy insured Morrison “against disability or death resulting directly and independently of all other causes from bodily injuries sustained through external, violent and accidental means.” Under the head “Accident Payments” it insured him in the sum of $5,000 and provided among other things: “If death shall result…
