In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals, as limited by her brief, on the ground of inadequacy, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Rosengarten, J.), entered August 10, 2005, as, upon a jury verdict on the issue of liability (Schulman, J.), finding the defendant Maria L. Barretta 40% at fault and the plaintiff 60% at fault in the happening of the accident, and upon a separate jury verdict on the issue of damages (Rosengarten, J.), is in favor of her and against the defendants in the principal sum of only $40,000 for past lost…
