|! This is a negligence action against an insurance agent and his employer, an in*85surance company, for failing to transfer a flood insurance policy. Following a jury trial, a judgment was rendered in favor of the plaintiffs, Jason and Jennifer Bigelow, and against the agent, Charles Lagarde, Jr., and his employer, State Farm Fire and Casualty Company (“State Farm”). The trial court denied the motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict (“JNOV”) or, in the alternative, motion for new trial filed by Mr. Lagarde and State Farm.
