This suit was brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, Ill. State Bar Stats. 1935, ch. 114, UU 321-329, in which the plaintiff, suing as administratrix of the estate of her deceased husband, claimed damages on account of his death, which, it is alleged, was caused by the negligence of the defendant. The verdict of the jury found the defendant guilty and assessed the damages at $30,000 in plaintiff’s favor.
