This Chapter 7 case is before the Court on the debtor’s motion to reopen the case to add an asset in the form of an employment discrimination claim filed by the debtor in the United States District Court. The debtor seeks to reopen the case so that a Chapter 7 trustee can administer the asset. The defendants in the district court action oppose debtor’s motion to reopen the bankruptcy case, arguing that they have filed a motion to dismiss in the district court in which they contend that the claims are barred by the doctrine of judicial estoppel.
