This is a personal injury action brought by plaintiffs Lorraine M. Colarossi (“Colarossi”) and Elizabeth D. Susman (“Susman”) (collectively, the “Plaintiffs”) against defendants Schmid Laboratories, Inc. and Schmid Products Corp. (collectively, “Schmid”). Plaintiffs originally filed the complaint (the “Com*232plaint”) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on 2 October 1992.
