The employer, Illinois Mutual Insurance Company, appeals from the judgment of the circuit court confirming the decision of the Illinois Industrial Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Commission). Affirming the decision of the arbitrator, the Commission found the claimant, Gerald VeVea, permanently and totally disabled under section 8(f) of the Workers’ Compensation Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.) (hereafter referred to as the Act).
