Respondent employer Modern Drop Forge appeals the judgment of the circuit court of Cook County confirming the Industrial Commission’s decision awarding benefits to the claimant, Robert Koenig. The respondent contends that (1) the Commission erred in awarding benefits at the rate of 662/s % of average weekly wage for a statutory amputation, rather than at the 60% rate; (2) the award of penalties and attorney fees was against the manifest weight of the evidence; and (3) the Commission’s finding that the claimant’s carpal tunnel…
