Bernard Lamar Lawson was indicted on one count of robbery by sudden snatching, OCGA § 16-8-40 (a) (3), and one count of violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act by possessing cocaine, OCGA § 16-13-30 (a). Lawson was found guilty by a jury of robbery by sudden snatching and possession of cocaine, his motion for new trial was denied, and he appeals.
