Petitioner is a licensed teacher, having permanent certification to teach in New York State. From September, 1968 through June, 1971, petitioner served on a probationary appointment in the Liverpool Central School District. At the board of education meeting on March 1, 1971, petitioner was appointed to tenure in the Liverpool Central School District, effective September 1, 1971, and was notified of the board’s decision in a letter dated March 8, 1971.
