— In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Gloria Aronin, J.), entered February 20, 1990, which, upon a jury verdict, is in favor of the plaintiff and against them in the principal sum of $300,000.

Ordered that the judgment is reversed, on the law, and a new trial on the issue of damages is granted, with costs to abide the event.
