Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Dier, J.), entered December 18, 1995 in Warren County, upon a verdict rendered in favor of plaintiff.
Plaintiff brought this action to recover for personal injuries she suffered when her automobile was broadsided by defendant’s automobile in the middle of an intersection. Following *969trial, a jury found defendant entirely responsible for the accident and awarded plaintiff $2,000 for past pain and suffering and $1,000 for future pain and suffering.
