I. INTRODUCTION
Luv n’ Care, Ltd. and Admar International, Inc. (collectively, “LNC”) bring this infringement action against Regent Baby Products Corp. d/b/a Baby King (“Regent”). In April, a jury trial was held before Judge Louis Stanton. The jury determined that two of LNC’s design patents, D617,465 (“the '465 patent”) and D634,439 (“the '439 patent”), were not primarily dictated by function.1 Regent now moves this Court for judgment as a matter of law on the patents’ functionality, or in the alternative, a new trial.
