The City of West Palm Beach appeals a final judgment in the amount of $230,000 after a jury found' that discrimination and/or retaliation occurred within the West Palm Beach Police Department (the “Department”) against the appellee, William H. McCray. By way of cross-appeal, McCray challenges the trial court’s order granting the City’s motion for a new trial on damages only.
