These consolidated appeals arise from two declaratory judgment actions brought in the Wayne Circuit Court to determine questions of insurance coverage and defense that arose from an accident involving a 1987 Pontiac 6000. The vehicle was owned by Manucor Leasing, Inc., and leased by Barry Figel. Figel’s spouse, defendant Diana Figel, was driving the vehicle when she struck Nicole Bethell, a minor.
