The defendant is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (Penal Law § 220.03), obstructing governmental administration in the second degree (Penal Law § 195.05), and attempted tampering with physical evidence (Penal Law §§ 110.00, 215.40 [2]), all class A misdemeanors.
