Defendants-appellants, Patricia S. Chichy and Shelton Galloway, appeal their convictions and sentences for conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 and for making false, fictitious, or fraudulent statements to an agency of the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1001 arid 2. For the following reasons, we reverse in part and affirm in part.
