The defendant was found guilty of operating a blind tiger, made unlawful by Act No. 8 of 1915; he was sentenced to pay a fine and be imprisoned, and has appealed from the conviction and sen*831tence. He relies on a bill of exceptions taken to the overruling of his motion in arrest of judgment. The motion, filed after the conviction, but before the sentence was passed, is founded upon the statements: (1) That the oath taken by the witnesses who testified against him on the trial was not valid; and (2) that the arraignment was not valid; and it was based upon the further contention that Act No. 8…
