ORDER SUSTAINING IN PART AND OVERRULING IN PART DEBTORS’ OBJECTION TO CLAIMS
Pending before the court is an adversary proceeding filed in these Chapter 7 proceedings wherein the debtors in an Objection to Claim contend that certain unsecured tax claims of the United States should not be given priority status but should be treated as general unsecured claims. They ask the court to find that the claims of the defendant are general unsecured claims not entitled to priority under either 11 U.S.C. § 507(a)(2) or 11 U.S.C. § 507(a)(6) and therefore dischargeable.…
