This proceeding was instituted in equity to restrain the maintenance of an alleged liquor nuisance, the complaint being stated in the usual form. The answer denies the existence and maintenance of the alleged' nuisance, but admits defendant has been conducting a liquor saloon on the described premises. He further alleges that he has been and is conducting the place in strict compliance with the term's of the so-called mulct statute, and is therefore not subject to prosecution or injunction.
