In this employment discrimination case, the plaintiff, James Walker, appeals from the summary *865judgment rendered by the trial court in favor of the defendant, the Department of Children and Families (department). The plaintiff claims that the court improperly failed to conclude that there was a genuine issue of material fact with respect to his allegations that the department terminated his employment on the basis of his race, color and gender in violation of General Statutes § 46a-60 of the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act, General Statutes § 46a-51 et seq.
