This matter is before the court upon Defendants Bramble Engine Power and Tolchester Marina’s motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(2), or in the alternative to dismiss for improper venue pursuant to Rule 12(b)(3). The plaintiffs filed this lawsuit in admiralty against the defendants on January 29, 1999. Both plaintiffs are South Carolina residents.
