I. INTRODUCTION

Katherine E. James brings this appeal from the district court’s denial of her motion to withdraw a no contest plea and subsequent sentencing. On appeal, James challenges the voluntariness of her plea because the trial court failed to inform her at the time of the plea that restitution was statutorily authorized for the crime of arson, pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 29-2280 (Reissue 1995). Additionally, James challenges the court’s refusal to allow her to withdraw her plea because she was allegedly on medication at the time her plea was entered.
