I. STATEMENT OF CASE

Pursuant to verdict, the district court adjudged the defendant-appellant, Gretta Merrill, hereafter referred to as Merrill, guilty of the unlawful manufacture of marijuana, a controlled substance, in violation of Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 28-405(c)(10) [Schedule I] and 28-416(l)(a) (Reissue 1995); the possession of more than 1 pound of that substance, in violation of §§ 28-405(c)(10) [Schedule I] and 28-416(12); and the possession of methamphetamine, a controlled substance, in violation of §§ 28-405(c)(3) [Schedule II] and 28-416(3).
