Defendant-appellant Alberto Lujan pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute large quantities of marijuana over an eight-year period. He now challenges the district court’s denial of a pretrial motion to dismiss a superseding indictment and to suppress certain evidence, as well as its refusal to depart downward pursuant to U.S.S.G. § 5H1.4 and its assessment of a $1,000,000 fíne.
