Todd Wolff appeals from a general jury verdict against him on Anthony Middlebrooks’s claims for slander per se and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and a verdict against him for punitive damages. On appeal Wolff contends that the trial court erred by fail ing to grant his motions for a directed verdict or judgment notwithstanding the verdict on plaintiffs slander per se, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and punitive damages claims.
