¶1 The superior court granted summary judgment dismissing Pamela Charlton’s negligence claim against the defendant for injuries suffered when she slipped and fell in the wet entryway of a Toys R Us store. Ms. Charlton contends she should have been allowed a trial on disputed issues of whether water on a floor creates an unreasonably dangerous condition, and whether Toys R Us failed to exercise ordinary care to protect her from this danger. She also argues that it was Toys R Us’s burden, not hers, to present evidence whether it had notice of the wet condition of the entry area where she fell.…
