Conservatorship of Mitchell
California Court of Appeal
1Opinion of the Court
Opinion
BEACH, J.
Following a court hearing, appellant was found to be gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder, and the public guardian was appointed as his conservator under the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act (LPS Act). On appeal, appellant challenges (1) the trial court’s admission of the psychiatrist’s opinion on appellant’s mental condition, and (2) the sufficiency of the evidence on the issue of “grave disability.” We reject these contentions and affirm the judgment.
