This is an action upon three promissory notes, alleged to have been made and executed by the defendants, who are husband and wife. Plaintiff is the administrator of the estate of H.M. Dunnington, deceased, who was the payee named in the instruments sued upon. Defendants are the son and the daughter-in-law of the deceased payee, H.M. Dunnington, who was the mother of F.M. Dunnington. The action was tried in the circuit court without the aid of a jury, resulting in a judgment in favor of the plaintiff administrator, and against the defendants, in the sum of $1181.
