Michele Tyler appeals the J denial of her petition to relieve her of the obligation to pay appellee spousal maintenance commensurate with a registered foreign decree of divorce. We, however, conclude sua sponte that pursuant to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (“UIFSA”), the relevant provision of which is codified at Ark. Code Ann. § 9-17-205(f) (Repl. 1998), the chancery court lacked jurisdiction to consider the modification petition, and we, consequently, reverse and remand with instructions to dismiss.
