AMENDED MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

BILBY, District Judge.

Joe Lambright, under sentence of death, seeks habeas corpus relief. This Court has jurisdiction pursuant to 22 U.S.C. § 2241 and 22 U.S.C. § 2254, and herein denies the petition.

FACTUAL BACKGROUND

In early 1980, Joseph Leonard Lambright, Robert Douglas Smith and Kathy Foreman began a cross country driving trip from Texas, to Florida, and then on to California, stopping in Arizona.
