The defendant has appealed from a judgment for damages which was rendered against it in a suit on an insurance policy for loss sustained on account of a fire.

The plaintiffs are brothers. They were joint owners of a small farm at Turlock upon which there was a furnished dwelling house. The property was occupied by their parents. October 25, 1928, the defendant insured the house for $2,500 for a three-year term. The same policy insured the household furniture for the further sum of $1500.
