Following a traffic accident, Plaintiffs Jamie and Arnold Stierwalt sued the driver of a semi-truck (Jeffrey Lear) along with the owners and operators of the truck (FFE Transportation Services Inc., Con-well Corporation, and Frozen Food Express Industries, Inc). The trial court granted summary judgment to all the Defendants. On appeal, Plaintiffs contend the trial court abused its discretion in refusing to continue the summary judgment hearing so they could obtain additional evidence.
