FINDINGS OF FACT

Third party plaintiffs, Sears, Roebuck & Company and Singer Company, both foreign corporations authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Sears & Singer”), filed this third party action against Jason Berry, endeavoring to recover by way of contribution from him, as joint tortfeasor, the sum of $90,000.00. Said amount represents one-half of the sum expended by Sears & Singer in compromising a wrongful death claim resulting from the electrocution of Nelcie Baughman. Jason Berry…
