This workers’ compensation action presents an issue of first impression in Tennessee. The plaintiff sought workers’ compensation benefits after a third party assaulted her while she was preparing lunch in her home where she had an employer-approved office. The chancery court granted the defendant’s motion for summary judgment holding that the plaintiffs injuries did not arise out of or occur in the course of the plaintiffs employment.
