Michael Cartwright appeals from his conviction of terrorism without intent to injure or provoke fear in violation of Iowa Code section 708.6 (Supp.1993). Upon our review of the evidence, we affirm his conviction.

In the early morning hours of May 25, 1993, Robert Hawthorne was driving his car on University Avenue when he noticed a Cadillac coming toward him. The Cadillac made a U-turn and started to follow him. After trying to lose the Cadillac, Hawthorne stopped his car and started to get out to see what the car wanted. As he opened his door a shot was fired from the Cadillac…
