—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Pitaro, J.), rendered November 21, 1996, convicting him of attempted robbery in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant contends that the trial court erred in precluding the testimony of a defense witness who would have explained the source of the money on the defendant’s person at the time of his arrest.
